On Thursday, Bureau, Putnam, Marshall County Health Department reported 12 new Bureau County cases and one new Marshall County case of COVID-19.

In Bureau County, all individuals are recovering at home and include one female in her teens, three females in their 30s, one male in his 30s, one female in her 40s, two females in their 50s, two males in their 50s, one female and one male in their 60s.

In Marshall County, the individual is also recovering at home and is a male in his 20s.

There have now been 215 confirmed cases of COVID in the three-county region. Bureau County has had 181 cases; Putnam County has had 12 cases; and Marshall County has had 22 cases.

There have been two COVID-related deaths reported in Bureau County since the outbreak.

ZIP code areas with six or more cases in Bureau County are: Princeton, 38 confirmed cases out of 1,530 tests; Spring Valley, 55 cases out of 1,074 tests; Buda, six cases out of 79 tests; DePue, 39 cases out of 137 tests and Ladd, eight cases out of 131 tests.

In Putnam County: Granville, seven cases out of 164 tests.

In Marshall County: Henry, nine cases out of 359 tests.

In total, 4,252 Bureau County residents; 497 Putnam County residents; and 1,613 Marshall County residents have been tested for COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic.
