LANGLEY — Psycho Silo in Langley was one of the few places that held a Fourth of July celebration.

Neponset American Legion post #875 held a patriotic ceremony and later there was fireworks.

Post Chaplain Dick Wells offer the invocation. Post Commander Gary Miller made a few remarks to the crowd. Many attendees were veterans.

The program included at 21-gun salute, taps and a bag piper playing military service hymns.

Bag piper Steve Coyne of Chicago came to the celebration after finishing a full-shift as a Chicago policeman. He received a standing ovation.
