This spud’s for you — welcome to the ‘Potato Olympics’
Third- and fourth-graders at Lincoln Elementary School in Princeton got into the spirit of the 2018 Winter Olympic Games by participating in their own "Potato Olympics" last Wednesday and Thursday. Each student was assigned a potato as their athlete and participated in winter-themed sports activities using their potatoes. Pictured are students cheering on their fellow classmates during the curling event, while elsewhere, students completed in cross-country skiing, carrying potatoes through the hallways while sliding on cardboard skis.
