Accidents

A vehicle driven by Chad S. Wright, 26, of Henry lost control and went off the side of the roadway after the air bag deployed without warning. The vehicle jumped the railroad tracks near the intersection of Epperson and Backbone roads, west of Princeton, and landed on the north side of the tracks. The accident occurred at 11:14 p.m. on March 30. According to the report, no injuries were reported following the accident.

A two-vehicle accident involving Brielle C. Conwell, 18, of Princeton and Joyce L. Egan, 65, of Princeton occurred in the intersection of 1995 East Street and Lovers Lane Road, south of Princeton, at 12:39 p.m. April 1. Egan was transported to Perry Memorial Hospital by Princeton Ambulance.

Following an accident that occurred on Peru-Princeton Road near 1390 North Avenue, north of Spring Valley, at 1:09 a.m. March 31, a 16-year-old girl was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, leaving the scene of an accident, improper passing and two counts of violating the rules of a graduated drivers license.

Traffic stops

A 17-year-old Princeton boy was charged with disobeying a stop sign on Sixth Street near Liberty Village in Princeton at 7:47 a.m. March 28.

Raed M. Jibawi, 50, of Tinley Park was charged with speeding and driving while license suspended on Route 40 near Route 92, west of Walnut, at 8:08 p.m. March 28.

Rhonda R. Chavis, 45, of Aurora was charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle on Interstate 80 eastbound near mile marker 63, southwest of Ladd, at 9:49 p.m. March 28.

Ehrin J. Tendick, 39, of Laura was charged with speeding and no valid registration in the intersection of Wyanet-Walnut and Kentville roads, south of Providence, at 5:36 p.m. March 29.

Bradley M. Vetter, 48, of Princeton was charged with speeding on 2200 East Street near Route 34, northeast of Princeton, at 5:37 p.m. March 31.

Aggravated assault

John W. Dixon, 53, of Hennepin was charged with aggravated assault in the 200 block of East Second Street in Wyanet at 12:03 a.m. March 29.

Violation of order of protection

Jayme Gutschlag, 44, of Sheffield was charged with violating an order of protection in the 300 block of East Atkinson Street in Sheffield at 9:58 p.m. March 29.

Warrant

Troy Allen King, 44, of Wyanet was picked up in the 500 block of East Park Avenue in Princeton at 10:18 p.m. March 29, on a warrant for failure to appear for driving while license suspended.

DUI

Following an accident, Pedro A. Lego Rodriguez, 31, of Spring Valley was charged with improper lane usage and driving while under the influence of alcohol in the intersection of Meridian and Shooting Park roads, east of Spring Valley, at 1:44 a.m. March 30.

Forgery

Justin Matthew Mills, 30, of Princeton was charged with forgery and possession of a hypodermic needle in the 800 block of West Peru Street in Princeton at 10:06 a.m. March 31.

Disorderly conduct

Derek Richard Egan, 37, of Walnut was charged with disorderly conduct and unlawful use of a weapon in the 100 block of Heaton Street in Walnut at 10:17 p.m. April 1.

Deer accidents

A vehicle driven by Andrea Glover, 47, of Bureau struck a deer in the intersection of Route 26 and 2300 East Street, northwest of Bureau, at 8:45 p.m. March 9.

A vehicle driven by Cecil E. Altizer, 68, of Tiskilwa struck a deer on Princeton-Tiskilwa Road near 1150 North Avenue, north of Tiskilwa, at 6:15 a.m. March 26.
