PRINCETON — After almost a decade of service to Gateway, Jeff Dean resigned from his position as CEO on Friday, July 7.
Gateway Board President Andrew Russell said he truly appreciates the dedicated service Dean gave to the organization.
"However, both Mr. Dean and the board of directors of Gateway Services felt it was best for both parties to move forward in different directions," he said.
Tracy Wright was appointed interim CEO immediately following Dean's resignation.
Wright said she's looking forward to seeing what the future holds for Gateways Services.
"I have no doubt that we will continue to move forward due to our great group of hard-working and dedicated staff who truly love the mission of Gateway," she said.
Wright has been with Gateway since September 1992. She served as community services director for the past nine years.
"The board believes that Ms. Wright has the qualifications necessary to step in as permanent CEO. Her 'interim' designation period ends on Oct. 31. At which time, the board will decide whether to extend the interim period, hire her (as a) permanent CEO or seek other options," Russell said.
